Multi-line general insurance agency with hundreds of national and regional carriers. Farmers Union Service Association (FUSA), Ltd.

was incorporated in September 1938 for the purpose of securing and marketing insurance products to Farmers Union members and residents of North Dakota. The association is a wholly owned subsidiary of Farmers Educational and Cooperative Union of America, North Dakota Division (the parent). The association is a general insurance agency operating as an exclusive agent for Agraria Insurance Company of ND and Farmers Union Mutual Insurance of Arkansas, and National Farmers Union Property & Casualty Company. Insurance products are also provided through numerous other outside companies. FUSA is one of the state’s largest managing general agencies writing over $500 million of premium. FUSA markets insurance products utilizing a captive/exclusive, agency force of 150 agents across North Dakota, South Dakota, and Arkansas. The company also provides marketing services for National Farmers Union Insurance in Utah and, providing insurance products to over 200 independent agencies. FUSA is licensed in 30 states and markets insurance and non-insurance products to Farmers Union members in 27 states. Mark Anderson, the companies CEO and Kevin Ressler, Lutcf, API, ASI, AFIS, AINS the Chief Sales, Marketing & Brand Officer oversee the companies operations along with a field management staff of 13. Other agency support staff includes accounting department personnel and secretarial staff.

Congratulations to the Farmers Union Insurance/Midwest Sports Extra+ football player of the week Mitch Grant of Tea High School.

At first glance, Mitch looks like he might be more at home playing center on the basketball court than quarterback on the football field! But his performance on the gridiron certainly speaks for itself. Mitch had an outstanding game against Mitchell, including an incredible 92-yard pick-six return for a touchdown as defensive safety!

When asked about that impressive play, Mitch was quick to give credit to his teammates for providing the blocking that helped him make it all the way to the end zone.
