80 years ago, something special kicked off right here in North Dakota!

On April 16, 1946, Nodak Insurance Company (originally Nodak Mutual Insurance Company) was born in Fargo, thanks to the North Dakota Farm Bureau and a mission: to help farmers and ranchers with protection they could count on.

It all started with just $500 from 100 members.

What a humble beginning—with a purpose that still guides us today!

80 years later, that purpose is stronger than ever.

June 20, 2025 reminded us North Dakota weather can be harsh…
…but it also reminded us why our office does what we do!

Amidst one of the worst storm seasons, we came out being among the top-ranked for customer service and claims experience in the country—and during that storm, our claims team proved why they deserve this award!

When you do business locally its more than just a local office and people you know. Then comes the fun part, it's a community impact! Every week we get requests for sponsorships or donations. We do our best to participate so that we can make good things happen. When you do business with us, you help make it happen! No fooling here! --- 10 years ago, Nicole and I took a leap and made Jamestown home and started with Nodak Insurance.
What started as an opportunity has turned into so much more— raising kids, building friendships, strong community connections, and the privilege to serve amazing people every day.

We’re beyond grateful for the communities we serve, the relationships we’ve built, our fantastic staff and the trust you’ve placed in us.
Here’s to the last 10 years… and to the future ahead! Continuing to make a positive impact and create good things together. 🙌
