IT matters if someone takes the time to walk you through the different kinds of annuities, not all are created equaly and I would say, hands down, there are some bad ones out there. Don't put your retirement with anything but the best.

Annuity can be seen as a for some depending on past experiences or horror stories of family memebers & friends. There are as many 'flavors' of annuities as there are types of cars, your utility or experience with the tool can be drastically different depending on which brand you elected...

This past year was the completion of my first 10 years in the role of financial services professional and Life Insurance / Retirement Income Planner in our family's financial firm that was started in 1987.

It has been such a joy to have the honor of serving those in my community, my friends, their parents, businesses we support, those who move into the area. It has all been a blessing getting to hear their stories and help educate on what tools might help them stay on course to where they want to end up.

Since 1945 the NAIFA Quality Award has been the mark of excellence and quality service in our industry and today they sent me this letter:

I didn't know what good coffee was until I met my wife 13 years ago (Married for 10 this Oct).. so you can say, I've had time to acquire a taste for it.

After the experience I had with Biggby's on Beach, I was thoroughly impressed!

Well thought out lobby AND drive-through, a wide variety of food and drink. But where the rubber hits the road is that Vanilla Latte that Kevin made me. Strong yet oh so creamy smooth!

An extraordinary year thanks to the people who were placed in my path looking to improve their financial situation.

The New York Life Council Agent has achieved extraordinary results in providing financial services & solutions for their clients, earning that Agent the opportunity to represent our local Agency at Regional & National Council conferences held every year along with many other opportunities to enhance and add value to both their practice and our Company. Recognizing our Council Agents is a Company tradition, dating back more than 100 years, and a true celebration of the importance of our Agents to the financial security of our policyholders and continued success of New York Life. Every year on July 1, our new annual class of Council Agents is announced.

Today we are spotlighting Quality Council Agent, Scott Campbell II, who is a second-generation NYLIC and continuing the legacy of running a Council Level Agency. He is thankful for a community of friends and clients to serve. Congratulations Scott!

Building on a legacy of giving back
Thanks for being “all-in” for a record-breaking 2021 Giving Campaign!
This year’s Giving Campaign has been especially meaningful, as we all continue to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic and social justice issues, and look for ways to make these days a little brighter. One of the best ways to help ourselves in difficult times is to help others, and through the results of this campaign, our employees and agents have once again shown that being there when we’re needed is a core part of who we are as a company.

Thanks to all who joined in this year’s effort and made the 2021 Giving Campaign a success! We raised a record-breaking $6.2 million—by far the most ever for a New York Life Giving Campaign—which includes the many virtual fundraisers that took place across the company. Employee participation reached 68 percent, and agents hit a new record at 23 percent participation. In total, we had 11,673 employees and agents donate during the campaign, which was another record-setting milestone.
