We're in the final stretch! This is the final week to donate to our Warm Clothing Drive. ❄ 🧡

New and like-new coats, gloves, boots, and other cold-weather essentials are in high demand this season, especially for youth sizes. Donate any listed items at your local Zeal Credit Union branch! We're accepting donations through the end of this week, so don't delay!

Thank you again to everyone who has dropped off donations so far - your support will help to warm more than hearts this winter. And a huge thank you to our partners at Ironwood Area Schools, Bessemer Area Schools, Hurley School District, Ewen-Trout Creek School District, Gogebic Ontonagon Head Start, Dove Inc. who play a vital role in helping our communities stay safe, warm, and cared for every day.

Scam Alert: Watch out for fake calls, texts, and emails.

We have seen a recent rise in impersonation scams, where fraudsters pretend to be from financial institutions, businesses, or government agencies like the FDIC, NCUA, or police. NO legitimate business or governmental agency will reach out for confidential account information, funds, or other confidential details. When in doubt, hang up immediately and reach out to the organization directly using a verifiable phone number to confirm the legitimacy of the request. If your account or information has been compromised, reach out to us immediately at (800) 321-8570.

On Monday, October 12th, the entire Zeal Credit Union team united across the state to champion child advocacy. For this year’s annual Day of Service, more than 100 Zeal team members dedicated their time to creating care kits, stuffed animals, and blankets for local child advocacy centers, including The Guidance Center’s vital Kids-TALK program.

Did you know that more than 22,000 cases of child abuse and/or neglect are verified in the state of Michigan each year? Kids-TALK serves as a vital component of the investigative process, providing advocacy, counseling, and assistance to the child and their family. Zeal Credit Union is proud to support valuable organizations like The Guidance Center as they cultivate safe places for young Michiganders to heal from trauma.
