100+ MONTHS. That’s more than 8 YEARS.

Today we are incredibly proud to celebrate Austin Svatos for two very meaningful honors from Big Brothers Big Sisters: recognition for 100+ months as a Big Brother and the Big Mentor Ambassador Award.

What may be even more special is that Austin has been matched with the same “Little” for all 100+ months. That young man is now in high school, and Austin’s kindness, care, and steady presence have made a meaningful impact during some of the times he has needed it most.

Anyone who knows Austin knows this is exactly who he is. He is one of the most dedicated, thoughtful, and genuinely kind people you will ever meet. The impact he has made on his Little’s life, and on the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization as a whole, is immeasurable.

Austin, we are so proud of you and so grateful for the example you set. The time, heart, and commitment you have given over all these years have truly made a difference. Congratulations on this incredibly well-deserved recognition.

Thank you to all of our clients and community members that participated in our annual Shred Event and Cleaning Supply Drive in support of United Action for Youth and their wonderful mission!

Each year, we ask that folks bring by unwanted documents and even some electronics that they would like to securely dispose of, as well as a donation of cleaning supplies to donate to United Action for Youth - this year was another great success and thank you to all that participated 😊

United Iowa Financial had the pleasure of volunteering to cook dinner for the families at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois!

We truly enjoyed our time in support of their mission to help care for the families of children receiving medical care and help keep them close together through a trying time ❤️
