More than 450 high school seniors from six local schools took part in the MEGA Financial Reality Fair in Clearfield, gaining hands-on experience with real-world budgeting and financial decision-making. A special thank you to the nearly 70 volunteers who shared their time and expertise to create an engaging, impactful learning experience for the next generation.

If a cyber incident happens to you, do you know who to contact? If your data is destroyed or encrypted, do you have backups? The worst time to ask these questions is after an incident has happened.

Make sure you back up your important data, create a plan for recovery, and keep both digital and physical copies on important documents so that you have backups in different formats.

Another Cybersecurity Awareness Month Tip!

Phishing is no longer limited to suspicious emails with obvious spelling mistakes. Attackers can use AI to create personalized messages, imitate voices, and generate convincing video of someone you trust. They may also contact you through multiple channels, such as email, text messages, phone calls, or online meetings, to make the request appear legitimate. Slow down, question unexpected or urgent requests, and verify the person’s identity using a known phone number or another trusted method.
