Last Tuesday, I was grateful to have hosted my first dinner event as a Financial Advisor. I presented to a room full of my family and family's friends, along side industry professionals and senior advisors.
The nerves were all encompassing throughout the day, leading up to the very moment it was time for me to speak.
One hundred eyeballs looking at me...
I looked around the room, I saw my anchors, my parents and sisters, and almost instantly the anxiety was forgotten.
The evening turned into something really meaningful with conversations about helping families think more intentionally about their financial future. Moments like this make me reflect on the journey that led me here.
A few years ago, I never imagined I’d be hosting a room like this and leading conversations about something as important as financial planning.
It reassured me that this career is about much more than numbers. It’s about helping people feel confident in the decisions they’re making for their families and their futures.
A special thank you to Nathan Sawyer, Scott Wilson, Randy Lupi, and Luke Swaddling for traveling from Boston, Cincinnati, and Cleveland to support me. Your mentorship and willingness to share your experience with the room meant a lot.
Grateful for the support and looking forward to many more conversations like this.
