Happy Flag Day!

Do you know the following facts about the United States of America flag:
⭐It is nicknamed Stars and Stripes
⭐The first flag was adopted in 1777 and displayed 13 stars and stripes. Since then, a star was added for each new state until 1960 when Hawaii joined
⭐A high school student named Robert G. Heft designed the current 50-star version for a school project in 1958
⭐The current flag is the longest-serving U.S. flag design
⭐The colors are red, white, and blue with red symbolizing valor/hardiness, white representing purity/innocence, and blue signifying vigilance/perseverance/justice
