Pool Safety Rules

No running. Decks and areas around a pool can be slippery, so walking is a must to prevent any slips.

Dive restrictions. Diving should only occur where allowed in extremely deep water.

Appropriate floatation devices. Use U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets and ones for the correct height and weight of the person.

Safety measures. Be sure all safety measures are in place. Surround the pool with a non-climbable fence that is at least 4 feet tall. Self latching gates and pool alarms are also essential.

Be prepared. Always know CPR, keep your water at safe levels, and have a first aid kit ready in case of an emergency.

Remember to say thank you to your employees for completing a project or doing something outside their normal responsibilities.

Say thank you to your customers as often as possible. Verbal is great, but on a receipt or in an email are also ways to show gratefulness.

Our Friday Focus is on commercial cyber security.
Protect your business’s networks, devices, and sensitive data from digital attacks and unauthorized access. Effective defense relies on layers of protection. Having antivirus software on devices is one, but another is protecting your network with a firewall. Always backing up data on the cloud and then having multi-factor authentication methods are additional layers of security.
