To our State Farm family and LKN community, we are unfortunately going to close the office and work from home the rest of today. There is office construction going on above us and there is an odor that creates an unsafe work environment for us. We will still be able to field any call in the office today, we will just be answering from home. Sorry for the inconvenience!!

My office has sponsored a winter basketball team throughout the years for Town of Cornelius Parks & Recreation department. This year I had the opportunity to help coach in the 13-14 year old division and coach my son, Tyler probably for the last time on a sports team. Our Bucks team went 8-2 on the season and won the Championship on Saturday!! It was so much fun helping coach this great group of young men here in the area!

**UPDATE 12:17pm** Our first load is FULL!! Wow thank you so much!! If you do bring supplies before our trailer returns, you can leave the donations in the lobby of the police department. Best place would be when you come into the lobby, put them in the left corner, NOT to block any doorways! Thank you again. We will provide another update soon!!

The Cornelius Police Department knows there are many that want to help those in the Western part of the state, but not sure how to make it happen. We are currently collecting supplies to help support first responders and aid the victims of catastrophic flooding in western North Carolina.

Our traffic trailer is parked in front of the police department and is ready to accept your donations.

🚨Call 704-892-1363 to have an officer meet you at the trailer to assist with your donation🚨

Once the trailer is full we will take care of getting it to the right places. 🙌

For any baseball fans out there you may know that both my son’s play a good bit of baseball. My youngest son, Carson and his 11U Lake Norman Little League All-Star Teammates play in the North Carolina State Championship game(s) tonight! They have to win their first game to play in the Second game to win the championship!! Let’s Go LKN!!

I took my office today for a sweet treat and got to talk with Melissa, who is the owner. She is so personable and great to talk to! My team’s first words after the first bite, “This is different”, “Oh wow!”
