Vocal was founded in the fall of 1954 by a group of 8 teachers who gathered and applied for a charter to start a credit union. The goal was to provide a trust worthy member owned business that gives a variety of competitive, stable and personable financial services. In 1982, membership was expanded to school employees and their families within the 3 counties of Lewis & Clark, Jefferson and Broadwa

ter. In 2000, the charter was gain modified to include residents of all counties. Today, membership includes anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in the 3 counties.

🚧 Helena Branch Renovation Update: Phase 2 is underway.

The loan side of the branch will be closed now until the end of the project. During this phase, some staff will be working remotely, but we will continue to have a loan officer available to serve our members.

A few reminders as the remodel continues:
• Helena Branch hours remain Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Vocal has made the decision to stop being open on Saturdays
• We anticipate completing the full remodel, inside and out, in October 2026
