Stood in front of a full room at Rate Recharge last week and told them about the time Alex Hormozi asked a massive influencer to audit his content.

Hormozi wanted notes on what he was doing wrong. What he got back was, "Dude, you're not doing anything wrong. You're just doing too little." Then the guy pulled up both their numbers side by side. Hormozi was posting to Instagram every other day and barely touching LinkedIn or Twitter. The influencer was doing four Instagram posts a day and something like 70 to 80 pieces of content total, every single day, across every platform.

Hormozi says the real shift for him wasn't asking how to make one post 20 percent better. It was realizing the people beating him weren't doing 20 percent more. They were doing 20 to 50 times more.

He's said a version of this since. Someone once asked him why his content was pulling so much more reach than theirs. His team was putting out 250 pieces a week. The guy asking was doing one post a day and figured that counted as a lot. Hormozi's point was that most people measure their effort against their own expectations instead of against the volume of the people actually getting the results they want.

I watch loan officers do the exact same math wrong. Two posts in a month, zero leads, and the verdict is "social media doesn't work for mortgage." It's not that it doesn't work. Two posts a month isn't enough attempts to find out.

This is the picture from right before I said that part out loud. A few people in the back put their phones down.

A nice young man was getting denied after being preapproved by another loan officer because of unexpected DTI issues. I only found out about it after the contract had been cancelled and this poor person had been put THROUGH all the trials and tribulations only to be told to "go pay off debt". ☠

Obviously, I would prefer the agent call me before the deal is dead but I'm sure they assumed I would have the same DTI issue.. Except I actually have more superpowers than most, and origination skills is one of them.

So, while most people have two solutions to a high debt ratio (pay off debt or make more money), I actually have... NINETY-ONE IDEAS. 9️⃣1️⃣

So, I thought it made sense to make my workbooks available to anyone that wants it!

You can grab my Understanding DTI Playbook, DTI Calculator, and my Solution Workbook with 90+ ways to overcome DTI hurdles.

Basically, everything from understanding how the ratio works to figuring out what to do when the math isn’t math-ing.

I can't post pdf's and calculators directly to FB so fill out the form below and I’ll send all three your way! 👇

Enjoy! 😘
