Krispy Krunchy Chicken celebrated its grand opening today with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
A new extension to community-favorite shop, Market on Market, located at 322 Market Street, will be open seven days a week, with both take-out and dine-in options available.

⚠️ On Saturday Sept. 12 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday Sept. 13 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. North Front Street will be closed between Seneca Street and Maclay Street for events at King Mansion.
⚠️ Derry Street will be closed from S 13th Street to S. 17th Street on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the LHACC Hispanic Heritage festival.

Today Mayor Wanda R.D. Williams and city officials welcomed members of the press into the Broad Street Market for a firsthand look at the progress being made toward its restoration and reopening.
The Brick Building has been a fixture in our city for over 150 years, and the City of Harrisburg is committed to ensuring it will be here for future generations.
The projected reopening is set for summer 2027.
