As a Managing Director, I use my experience to coach individuals to be successful financial professionals.

As a Financial Advisor, I visit with folks to discuss financial security via optimal financial structures (retirement planning, investments, etc.) Leveraging my expertise in insurance and retirement planning, I guide folks toward optimal financial structures. As Managing Director, I lead and mentor a team of financial representatives in Central and Southern Indiana. With a strong emphasis in onboarding education, I look to add 2-4 qualified professionals to our team each year. As a team, we assist individuals, couples, families, and business owners plan for a secure financial future through investment and insurance planning. What makes our team unique is the impact we have on our communities. Last year our representatives helped raise over $2.1 million in fraternal contributions across Indiana and over $46 million nationwide. A thank you to Joe Soucy, Tim Graham and the entire Graham Region for inviting me out to Salem, New Hampshire, earlier this month for their Manager's Development Meeting!

There's something pretty special about getting together with people who share a common mission, but bring different experiences, perspectives, and ideas to the table. I always appreciate the opportunity to exchange ideas, challenge one another, and learn from people who are equally passionate about developing others and building something meaningful.

A special shoutout to Joe on his new office! What an incredible space to continue building your practice, developing your team, and serving your community. Congratulations, my friend!

When disaster strikes, recovery takes a community.

After the floods that impacted Indiana this summer, we spent a day at the Indy Art Center donating art supplies and helping clean up their outdoor areas to support their reopening efforts.

It was a reminder that leadership isn't always found in boardrooms or offices. Sometimes it's found in work gloves, wheelbarrows, and people willing to lend a hand when it's needed most.

To the superheroes who were willing to get their hands dirty, well done. I’m proud to be part of a team that believes in investing in the communities we serve.

This post has been a long time coming…

The 2026 Lilly Scholars Network (LSN) INfuse Summit was amazing!!!

The weekend was jam-packed with thoughtful activities and brilliant individuals. It was a privilege to connect with alum and current scholars alike and an honor to be one of the presenters for this year’s conference.

With a focus on community engagement and civic responsibility, the INfuse Summit provided a great opportunity to reflect upon how leadership isn't about having all the answers.

It's about sharing what you've learned, helping others grow, continuing to learn and the willingness to be challenged along the way.

From the very start, scholars went to work and got their hands dirty… jumping in to assist with numerous nonprofit organizations. The first day capped with best-selling author and global health activist, John Green, sharing his wisdom through stories and participating in a thought-provoking Q&A! Day two was a flurry of amazing professionals eager to share their areas of expertise and passion for community engagement.

If Saturday was about getting out and doing work in the world, Sunday was all about challenging each other… and being challenged… doing work within ourselves.

Special shoutout to the LSN staff Bryana Schreiber, Katie Goodrich, Katie Swanson, and Emily Morales for executing such a memorable and meaningful experience. The level of engagement, thoughtfulness, and commitment to community impact was incredible. Our state is stronger because of you and we’re thankful to have you as the leaders of our ever-growing network!

This is one of my favorite things about who we are.

Last summer, hundreds of us gathered in Orlando for Modern Woodmen's National Convention.

And somewhere between the meetings, conversations, and celebrations... we went to work.

Together, our delegates and conference attendees rolled up their sleeves to complete a service project designed to help others.

Because for us, giving back isn't something that happens when there's extra time.

It's part of who we are.

A special shoutout to Linda Ayotte, captured here doing what she does best—jumping in and getting things done—and to everyone who helped make the project happen… especially, our amazing Fraternal Department.

Financial services may be what we do.

A special shoutout to Shai Cross and the Bluewater Kings Band. 🎶

For years, Shai and the band have made the trip to Indiana to perform at our annual Glitter & Gratitude Gala—and somewhere along the way, they've simply become part of the tradition.

Shai is incredibly talented. But more importantly, he's willing to share that talent with others.

I think there's something in that.

We all have gifts. Different talents, experiences, abilities, connections—something we can contribute.

And I'm not sure our gifts were ever intended to be kept to ourselves.

Shai, thank you for continuing to share yours with us. For the music, the energy, the friendship, and for helping us celebrate some pretty incredible people doing some pretty incredible things.

Because I said I would.

Five pretty simple words.

I recently had the opportunity to spend some time with Alex Sheen, founder of the nonprofit because I said I would, and I've found myself thinking about those words ever since.

Alex started the organization following the loss of his father in 2012. What began with simple Promise Cards has grown into a movement that has distributed more than 16.5 million cards across 178 countries—all centered around one idea:

A promise matters.

Our word matters.

It's easy to say we're going to do something.

Show up.
Make the call.
Help someone.
Volunteer.
Change a habit.
Be a better spouse, parent, friend, leader or neighbor.

The harder part is doing it.

And maybe that's exactly why keeping our word can be so powerful.

Our words tell people what we intend to do. Our actions tell them who we are.

Alex has taken that simple idea and built something pretty incredible around it. Today, because I said I would is helping people build resiliency and better habits while supporting individuals and families facing some incredibly difficult circumstances.

Alex, thank you for the conversation, the work you're doing, and the reminder.

Say what you mean.

Do what you say.

Because you said you would.

Some people have an incredible ability to turn information into inspiration—and inspiration into action.

Bryana Schreiber is one of those people.

Recently, Bryana had the opportunity to speak with the Franklin Rotary Club about the Lilly Scholars Network—who we are, what we're building, and the incredible potential that exists when thousands of Lilly Scholars across Indiana choose to stay connected and engaged in their communities.

And Bryana is pretty darn good at telling that story.

But what I appreciate most about her isn't simply her ability to speak.

It's her ability to motivate and mobilize people around something that matters.

Because strong communities don't just happen.

They happen when people share their gifts. When they make introductions. When they invite others in. When they see an opportunity to contribute and decide to do something about it.

That's leadership.

Bryana, thank you for continuing to use your voice, your relationships, and your talents to bring people together and move our communities forward.

Powerful people don't simply make an impact. They inspire others to make one, too.

This is what “People Helping People” looks like.

A special shoutout to Taylor Ogden and her husband, Conner, for taking the initiative to put one of their Modern Woodmen member benefits to work—the Do-Good Grant.

We gathered up a few from our crew and Conner brought a few members from his crew, The Jet Vet, to spend a couple of hours volunteering with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana. We spent the afternoon preparing healthy snacks for families with children receiving medical care.

A couple of hours. A little initiative. And together we prepared 109 veggie cups, 26 yogurt parfaits, and 15 fruit cups for families staying at the House and inside Riley.

Pretty cool.

The Do-Good Grant is one of those things I love about being part of a fraternal organization. It's an opportunity available to our members to take something they care about and turn it into action in their own community.

Taylor and Conner did exactly that.

Thank you both for seeing an opportunity to serve and running with it. And a huge thank you to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana for the incredible work you do every day to provide a home away from home for families when they need it most.

A little time. A little generosity. A great deal of good.

The internship may be over. The relationship isn't.

This summer, we had the privilege of spending eight weeks with five pretty incredible college students: Kaden Temple, Elise McDonald, Jaiden Buskirk, Michael Wilson, and Renata Carneiro.

They learned. They served. They challenged themselves. They challenged us. And somewhere along the way, they became part of our team.

So we're making it official.

Meet our newest Campus Ambassadors.

As they return to Franklin College, Indiana State University, Indiana University, and IU Indianapolis, they'll continue representing who we are, sharing their experiences, and helping us find the next group of students ready to do something a little different with their summer.

Because we're getting ready to do it all again.

Applications for our next summer internship class will be opening soon.

If you're a college student—or know one—who wants more than something to put on a résumé, stay tuned.

We aren't just looking for interns.
