Blake has been doing a little more than sightseeing lately.

He recently traveled to Baltimore and Washington, D.C. for the Big “I” National Young Agents Conference, representing Illinois as a member of the Big I Illinois Young Agents Committee and as a board member for the Big I Illinois Board of Directors.

Even better, the Illinois Young Agents Committee received the national Outstanding Membership Development Award for its Rising Insurance Professionals Program, or RIPP, a program Blake helped create.

We are proud to have someone on the Thacker team who is not only committed to serving our clients here at home, but is also investing his time in the future of the insurance profession.

Congratulations to Blake and the entire Big I Illinois Young Agents Committee on a well-earned national recognition.

Thacker Insurance Service joined Double J Doggie Play N Stay - Greenville to host another Bond County Cruise-In at Apple Day in Greenville.

Registration fees were collected and allowed us to present a $1,500 donation to the Bond County VFW Auxiliary!

The funds will be used for Veterans’ grave marker plaques, helping honor and recognize those who served.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to support its veterans!

We’re proud of Natalie’s dedication to our community!

Up next on the Board is...Natalie Thacker!

Natalie is a retired elementary classroom and reading teacher who dedicated 24 years to education and supporting children in the classroom. Today, she works behind the scenes at Thacker Insurance Service, her family’s insurance agency.

Natalie and her husband, Curt, have been married for 34 years. Curt grew up in Mulberry Grove, and the couple returned to the area in 2016. Their children, Laney and Brock, are both involved in the family insurance agency, making it a true family business.

Natalie enjoys giving back to the community and regularly volunteers with Chamber of Commerce community events and the Bond County Cruise-In. With her background in education, love for children, and heart for serving her community, Natalie is excited to continue making a difference as a member of the Greenville Crisis Nursery Board.

A few more highlights from the Bond County Cruise-In and Chili Cook-Off!

We were proud to help sponsor the event with Double J and had a great time being part of such a busy day in downtown Greenville.

Congratulations to all of the Cruise-In and Chili Cook-Off winners, and thank you to everyone who entered, attended, donated, or helped make the day such a success.

Most importantly, the event raised $1,500 for Bond County Memorial VFW Post 1377 to support veteran grave markers in Bond County.

That is a pretty good day for cars, chili, and community.

We had a blast at the Bond County Cruise-In and Bond County Farmers Market’s Apple Day!

Beautiful cars, a busy downtown, plenty of familiar faces, and a great excuse to spend the day with the community.

We were proud to help sponsor the Cruise-In and Chili Cook-Off alongside Double J, and even happier to be out there visiting with everyone who stopped by.
