One thing we consistently encourage our buyers to do at WilsonHouse Realty is take advantage of their opportunity for a due diligence period and have an independent third-party home inspection completed.

And YES, that includes NEW CONSTRUCTION homes!

We understand the expectation that when you purchase a brand-new home, everything should be new, properly installed, and functioning as intended. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case.

The same applies when purchasing a home AS-IS. Even if you know the seller isn’t going to make any repairs, we still encourage you to get an inspection, even if it’s simply for your own information!

You deserve to know what you’re buying!

An independent home inspector works for YOU, not the builder or seller, and can help identify issues that may not be visible during a normal walkthrough.
