Want an online version of the Medicare & You handbook?
Since you get cost and coverage information directly from your Medicare Advantage Plan, you likely don't need a paper copy of this handbook.
Choose the Online Handbook
Here's how to switch to the online handbook:
1. Log into (or create) your secure Medicare account at Medicare.gov/account and select "Edit my account settings."
2.Under the "Email and delivery preferences" section at the top of your account settings, select "Edit" next to Medicare & You Handbook.
3. Under "How do you want to get your Medicare & You Handbook?" select "Electronically" then "Save Changes."
Take this action by May 31 and Medicare will send you an email each fall when the online handbook is ready, instead of mailing a paper copy. If you change your mind later, you can always switch your settings back to "paper" in your Medicare account.
