From a professional standpoint it was a hell of a year.
And not a single bit of it would have been possible without my loan partner Tara Cabelof. She is the reason that last year was possible. When we partnered up; she jumped in cold feet and didn’t miss a beat. There was no trial period or ramp up, she just just took over the pipeline. She is the definitely the yin to my yang and somehow understands what’s going on in my head… a feat all in its own.
But she is also a trusted partner, someone whom I bounce ideas off of and strategize loans with. She has forgotten more lending rules than I’ll ever know (and I once thought I knew a lot). She fills the gaps of my business and keeps everything moving forward.
What’s even more amazing is she’s a partner to another Scotsman Guide LO Chase Suidan. She effortlessly assists two LO’s at that kind of production and doesn’t even break a sweat. She is a great person, a mortgage loan queen, and my secret weapon. 👑 ⚔️
Also thank you to my manager Jake Williams, CMB®, AMP. Your continued support while also challenging me to be better have been a catalyst for my business and my life. I look to continue building alongside you, Thank you!
But none of this matters to me if I wasn’t able to accomplish the following:
✴️ Showing up and being present in the moment.
✴️Taking care of myself.
✴️ Being a great parent, teaching, helping, encouraging, and being at all the events.
✴️ Coaching basketball and soccer.
✴️ Treating others how I would want to be treated.
✴️ Taking part in a career panel, my first of many and giving Back when I can both with my time and money.
✴️ Volunteering to help build two accessibility ramps with Home Repair Services.
You see, none of the work accomplishments mean anything to me if I am not a good person. If I am not happy and healthy then what does all of the other stuff matter? If I am not positively impacting those around me, what do the accomplishments matter? I believe that the “traditional” success is a byproduct of gratitude, humility, and a genuine connection to others.
Life is about growing, and last year was just the beginning of something great. I am incredibly thankful to all of the clients, referral partners, family, friends, coworkers, and my kids for trusting and believing in me, as I have myself.
