✨ Office Spotlight: Holly Boroos ✨
📍 Where are you originally from?
I am originally from Thief River Falls. I moved to the Grand Forks / East Grand Forks area 10 years ago.
💼 What is your role, and what does a typical day look like?
Because we’re a smaller office, I wear many hats—but my main role is Financial Planning Team Lead. I help support newer financial representatives as they grow their businesses by handling behind-the-scenes work and staying on top of client follow-ups. I’m also involved in developing interns through our college financial representative program.
🎉 How long have you been with Northwestern Mutual?
I celebrated my 10-year work anniversary in April!
❤️ What is your favorite part about working here?
There are so many things I enjoy about my job. I've built great relationships with current and former financial representatives, team members, and clients. What I really love is that no two days are the same—you never know what each day will bring. Plus, I learn something new every day.
🌿 What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
My husband and I live on 7 acres out in the country with our dog, two cats, and chickens. We've expanded our garden, so in the fall, a lot of my time is spent canning vegetables. Outside of that, I enjoy fishing, golfing, spending time at the cabin, following my daughter in all of her activities, and traveling.
