Did you know that the tradition of carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns originally started with turnips and potatoes? 😲

The tradition dates back to Ireland, where people carved vegetables to create lanterns. When Irish immigrants came to America, they discovered pumpkins were easier to carve and began using them instead! 🎃

💡 Fun Fact: Pumpkins eventually became one of the most recognizable symbols of Halloween!
