Last week SECOR Cares celebrated 20 years in true Roaring 20s style and what a night it was. The community showed up ready to give, and they absolutely stepped up to support neighbors facing food insecurity right here in our suburbs.

The attire? Incredible. Sequins, feathers, fringe…people committed to the theme and made the room feel electric. And as always, Brie and Lisa completely killed it bringing the vision to life.

Honored to be back for another year supporting an organization that continues to lead with dignity, compassion, and real impact. Here’s to 20 years of caring for this community and to the next 20.

A few weeks ago at Paddington Preschool, the parents showed up ready to do what parents do best…support the people who pour into their kids every single day. ❤️

And honestly? When you’re raising money for the teachers and staff who love, guide, encourage, and help shape your children, it becomes a pretty easy “yes.”

The room was full of gratitude, generosity, and a whole lot of heart. Watching that community rally around their teachers was something special.

Also…credit to Stefan for this awesome reel. He captured the energy and heart of the night perfectly. 🎥✨.

Saturday night at Mack & the Muse, the Mackintosh Academy community showed up ready to play and to give.

They defined what community looks like, rallying behind their muse: the teachers.

Old friends, new connections, and one of the most powerful moments of the night watching alumni flip a time-honored 8th grade rite of passage into something bigger…honoring the very teachers who once lifted them up.

That’s the kind of full-circle that sticks with you.

There’s a difference between a good night… and a meaningful one.

At WeeCycle last Friday, we started with a clear ask:
50 people at $100 to fund 50 infant car seats - 50 babies getting home safely.

The paddles went up fast. No hesitation. Just a community that got it.

And then… they kept going.

63 yeses.
63 families supported.
63 safe rides home.

Yes, we broke records.
But more importantly we showed what’s possible when people lean in with heart. 💛

Thursday night Under the Mango Trees was one of those moments that lingers.

From the powerful keynote to the stories of the girls, the message was clear when they’re surrounded by holistic care in a place that feels safe, where they are truly known and loved, something incredible happens.

You see joy. Real, hard-earned joy.
And you feel hope not as an idea, but as something alive and growing.

The room may have been intimate, but the energy was undeniable. A group of people fully leaned in, ready to support what New Horizons House is building healing, dignity, and a future.

Grateful to be part of a night that mattered.

There’s a difference between working an event and truly understanding a mission.

This morning I experienced a Mack Morning Meeting and it was a powerful reminder.

You don’t just see a school…you feel the community.
Students showing up for each other.
A culture built with intention.

It reinforced something I believe deeply:

I can’t do my job well from a run-of-show alone.

If I’m going to stand on a stage and ask people to give, I need to experience it first.

That’s why I make it a priority to visit, volunteer, and show up for the organizations I serve.

Because when I step on stage, I’m not just telling a story…I’m telling their story.

Southmoor understood the assignment 🐎✨
50 years strong and this community came READY.

Ellen, Jen, and the entire committee pulled off a Derby night that had the perfect mix of fun, heart, and let’s-do-this energy. From the jump, this crowd showed up to celebrate—and to give.

And then… the surprise auction item 👀
Shots with the principal?? Instant crowd favorite. Bidding went wild and honestly… worth it 😂

When a room leans in like that, magic happens. And last night? Total magic. 💙

Last night at the Cory Ranch Gala… and this room delivered.

A record-breaking paddle raise, and you could feel it building. No hesitation, no second-guessing. Just a community of parents who understand exactly what it takes to support their kids’ learning environment, and stepped up in a big way.

And then those moments you can’t plan… running into old friends you didn’t expect to see. The kind of connections that remind you this is more than a fundraiser, it’s a community that actually shows up for each other.

Proud moment on my end too, Max is really coming into their own as a ringman. Confident, sharp, reading the room, bringing the energy when it counts. Fun to watch that growth in real time.

Grateful to be part of a night like this. This is what it looks like when a community goes all in.

Forty years of impact… and a night that felt like something bigger than just an event. ✨

Celebrating the life behind Adam’s Camp
and the thousands of “firsts” that have happened because of it. First steps. First words. First moments of independence that families never forget.

Last night wasn’t just about looking back… it was about carrying that legacy forward.

I found myself channeling Adam’s spirit all night long, pushing a little harder, asking a little bigger, believing a little deeper, because this work matters. These kids matter. These families matter.

And this community? Showed UP. 💥

Because of you, more kids will get that moment, the one that changes everything.

That’s the magic of camp.
That’s the miracle we get to be part of. 💙

Tonight hit different. All events are special in their own way but this one really hit me in my core and reminded me how lucky I am that people trust me with their mission and I am here to give every org my all.
