The first time was when I was trying to get pre-underwritten, but for a physician loan, and I was told that I didn't have enough Reserves even though I did when I got pre-approval. The issue here is that the underwriter was considering if I were to get a regular jumbo loan, which would require more Reserves, and mentioned this even though it didn't apply to me, but it made me question whether my pre-approval was worth anything. And the second time that I felt stressed was because I had a unique timeline during closing since my wife was unfortunately going to be out of town for the 3 days leading up to closing, so I was stressed about making sure we signed all our closing documents before she left town, and I felt like the urgency I wanted was not mirrored by our underwriter. But in the end everything got done on time and we got our house, so all is well. Thanks for all your help, can't wait to refinance to a lower rate
