A lot of people throw around the stat that most agents sold zero or one home like it’s a joke. Reality is… this business is front-loaded with cost, pressure, and responsibility.

Many agents are paying board dues, MLS fees, marketing, gas, insurance, photography, signs, and lead generation before they ever see a commission check.

And some license holders aren’t even actively selling. Some never retired their license. Others do a deal here and there for friends, family, or referrals.

Much respect to the agents still showing up and trying in a market that’s tougher than people think. Real estate isn’t easy money. Never was.
