To help with your project, you'll receive a fun package in the mail that includes a $200 bank card, T-shirts for your crew, and other items to make your project successful.

Members can apply to receive $200 in seed money to coordinate a small-scale volunteer project with family and friends. Modern Woodmen will award a limited number of grants per year on a first-come, first-served basis.

There’s something special about serving the people who spend their lives serving others.

Recently, we had the opportunity through Modern Woodmen of America to host a service project for the Georgetown Fire Department and Georgetown Police Department by providing BBQ plates as a small token of appreciation for everything they do for the community.

Sometimes the most meaningful acts are the simplest ones — sharing a meal, breaking bread together, and taking a moment to say thank you.

These first responders show up day after day for others in moments of crisis, uncertainty, and need. It was an honor for us to give back in a way that brought people together and recognized their dedication to serving Georgetown.

Grateful for opportunities like these that remind us community is built through service, appreciation, and connection.
