I became an agency owner in 1999 because I wanted to help people in the community — and Georgetown was an easy choice. The culture, the close-knit neighborhoods, and the proximity to Austin made it the right place to plant roots. Austin State University with a bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics, and in 2017 I completed my MBA from Washington State University. I've never stopped learning — in 2011 I earned my Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, one of the most rigorous credentials in the industry, and as a Personal Financial Representative I can help families and business owners with retirement planning and financial protection alongside their insurance needs. My agency has earned Premier Service recognition from Allstate — but what I'm most proud of is simpler than an award: we pick up the phone. If you've ever had an agent who was impossible to reach, slow on COIs, or gone when you had a claim, that's the problem we exist to solve. We do what we say, when we say it. I've been a member of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce since 2000, received the Ambassador of the Year award in 2002, and have served on its board of directors since 2018. I'm also a committee member with the Rotary Club of Georgetown. Growing this business community matters to me — not just professionally, but personally. Outside the office, I stay active. I bike the San Gabriel Trail, hike Cedar Breaks Park at Lake Georgetown, kayak, play basketball, and hit the gym. My wife, son, and daughter keep the rest of my time well accounted for.
