As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close tomorrow, we're celebrating the people and cultures that make our Legacy family special! Today, we're spotlighting Bellamar Insurance, our bilingual agency in Gainesville, Georgia, and its Division Manager, Karla Morales!

For Karla Morales her Hispanic heritage has instilled values of family, compassion and respect that guide how she connects with clients and serves her community. Through its bilingual approach, Bellamar helps English- and Spanish-speaking families and businesses feel understood, supported and confident in their insurance decisions.

While Hispanic Heritage Month may be ending, our appreciation for the diverse cultures and perspectives that strengthen our Legacy family continues year-round.

Community involvement is even more meaningful when there's a personal connection behind it. 💙 Legacy Risk Solutions was proud to serve as a headline sponsor of The Bell Center's recent Singo Night, a fun-filled evening of music, bingo and community support benefiting the organization's early intervention programs for children with special needs.

For our team member, Natalie Edwards, the event was especially meaningful. Her family's involvement with The Bell Center began through a close friend's son, Jack, and has since grown into an opportunity for her daughter, Laurie, to give back as a member of The Bell Center Youth Alliance.

We're proud to support organizations making a difference in the communities we serve and even prouder of team members like Natalie who help strengthen those connections. Thank you to The Bell Center for the incredible work you do for children and families!

Our Legacy Risk Solutions team recently attended the 2026 CONNECT Fall Expo, hosted by the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia (IIAG) at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa.

Representing Legacy were Steve Munn, Strategic Partnership Development Manager; Michael Mellars, Chief Operating Officer; Charles McCollum , Regional Vice President; and Robbie Moore, Risk Advisor with Blanchard & Calhoun Insurance Agency, a member of Legacy Risk Solutions.

We’re especially proud to recognize Robbie, who also serves as the 2026–2027 President of IIAG! His leadership reflects our commitment to supporting independent agencies and helping move the insurance industry forward. From meaningful industry discussions to opportunities to strengthen relationships, it was a great few days of learning, connecting, and representing the Legacy family.

Some of the most important work HR does happens before there’s ever a problem to solve. At Legacy Risk Solutions, our HR team plays an important role in both supporting our people and protecting our organization.

From clear onboarding and accurate documentation to consistent policies and honest coaching conversations, much of that work is about thinking ahead and putting the right safeguards in place. And in an industry built around managing risk, that matters.

As Human Resources Manager Erin Holderfield explains, our clients count on us to protect what matters to them. HR helps make sure the people doing that work feel protected and set up to succeed, too. Because taking care of our clients starts with taking care of the people who serve them. 💙💚

Going the extra mile for those who keep our country moving. 🚛💙💚
Each year in recognition of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, members of our Transportation team come together to prepare care bags filled with items to make life on the road a little more convenient for professional truck drivers.

With support from our carrier partners, our team then hits the road, splitting into North and South Georgia groups to personally deliver the bags and say thank you.
It’s a small gesture for the dedicated men and women who spend countless miles on the road helping keep our communities and businesses moving.

We’re proud of our Transportation team for continuing this tradition and finding a meaningful way to show appreciation for the people they serve every day.
And we can’t forget the team behind the effort! 👏 We’re giving them a well-deserved shoutout in the comments below.

Learning, connecting and bringing new ideas back to Legacy! 💡

A cross-functional group from Legacy Risk Solutions recently attended Applied Net 2026 in Washington, D.C. Wendy Dygert, Ash Mady, Tammy Smith, Geni DuBois, Kira Ohlendorf, Meredith Kirkus, Charles Burns and Rebecca Chandler represented teams across operations, technology, quality control, employee benefits, training and systems support.

Throughout the conference, our team had the opportunity to learn from industry experts, explore new technologies and innovations, and connect with insurance professionals from across the country. We’re excited to see how our team puts what they learned into action!
