One thing about this business nobody really sees from the outside: sometimes the real work starts when things go wrong.

This week tested me.
A deal hit an unexpected issue right at the closing table, the kind of situation that could have very easily caused everything to fall apart.

Instead of accepting defeat, my team and I spent days fighting for solutions, negotiating extensions, coordinating moving pieces, protecting terms, minimizing costs, and doing everything possible to keep the deal alive for the clients.

It’s not just about getting people to the closing table… but standing in the fire when things get complicated and finding a way through it.

Because sometimes the difference between a loan closing and a loan dying is having someone willing to keep pushing when everybody else is tired.

Exhausted, but grateful today. 🤍
