John Zurcher, Development Manager for New York Life My overall objective is the continued dedication to training and developing capable men and women. My core functions include:
1.

As the Development Manager for the Nashville General Office, I provide training, mentoring, coaching and skills mastery to Agents. I am responsible for the implementation and facilitation of training initiatives, procedures and directives. My foundational strategies are rooted in ensuring each and every Agent I train and develop is given the best chance to succeed. New York Life Insurance Company

has one of the most comprehensive training programs available for life insurance Agents and Recruiters in the financial services industry. Oversee Company specific training and development for all Agents.
2. Conduct sales training and licensing classes to develop new and experienced Agents.
3. Mentor Agents in Company financial solution design; sales & prospecting techniques; and sales activity training.
4. Implement and teach the New York Life Curriculum.
