I usually don’t think much about the number of local events, organizations, and causes I’ve been able to support through my work. But every once in a while, it’s nice to look back and realize just how much you’ve had the opportunity to be part of. I’d love to hear from you: What’s something you’re quietly proud of?

Don't let distractions call the plays. Keep your hands on the wheel, your eyes on the road, and your attention on the drive. The highlights can wait until you arrive. 🏈

The State Farm jingle first appeared in a commercial in the early 1970s. My team and I are committed to making sure being a good neighbor is not just a part of State Farm history.

Some people think stay-at-home moms and dads don't need life insurance because there's no income to replace. Turns out, they contribute more from a financial perspective than many people realize, which means they may need life insurance, too.

Even when an adult family member doesn’t work outside the home, life insurance is still worth considering.

A little over 2 years ago I was asked to open our Frankfort location. During that brief time i have been asked many times about where I'm from, my family and what connection if any i have to Frankfort, and sometimes WHY I opened in Frankfort. I have even heard some of my competitors question my pedigree. I have also met some wonderful folks who quickly realize they know my parents, grandparent, aunts, uncles, cousins... you get the picture! Its also given me a great chance to reconnect with parts of my family history that wasn't totally clear to me either. I am fortunate that I have some great historians in my family (more on them in another post) who passed along these photos. My Great Grandfather and Grandmother Butler and Carrie Ahler are on the left, Grandmother Tootie Ahler Woodrum and Guy Woodrum are next (check out the brand new capital in the background), anyone know where that pic was taken? Then comes Woodrum Lumber on East Main Street and my Grandad's Grocery.
You see I didn't just wake up one day and come to Frankfort, I returned. My family doesn't just go back a few years or even a decade or two,we measure our commitment to Frankfort in centuries. On both sides of my family, the Lippert's and the Woodrum's have been serving the community in multiple business and civic endeavors. I hope to live up to and continue the century old traditions of our family in Frankfort! Thank you for welcoming me and granting us a fantastic start to this chapter and i look forward to serving you well into this century!
