🍋 Turning lemonade into life lessons! 💰

The STAR Team recently hosted a fun, interactive financial education session during the Westfield Washington Public Library Summer Reading Program, where kids learned the value of saving, spending wisely, investing, and sharing. Through lemonade stand themed games, budgeting activities, and our popular "bucket game," participants practiced making smart money decisions while having a blast.

From pricing lemonade supplies and discussing startup costs to learning about reinvesting earnings, these future entrepreneurs gained valuable lessons that will serve them for years to come.

Luke is currently pursuing a degree in Finance and Accounting at Purdue University. Having grown up in the Fort Wayne area, he has long been familiar with STAR Bank’s strong reputation in the community.

This summer, Luke is eager to expand his professional network within the wealth management industry while gaining hands-on experience and developing a deeper understanding of investment strategies, client relationships, and day-to-day responsibilities in the field.

🎉 Congratulations to Aaron Amick, a STAR Future of Agriculture Scholarship recipient!

Aaron attends Oklahoma State University, where he studies Animal Science with a focus in Business and Pre-law. He plans to attend law school and specialize in agricultural law, with an emphasis on estate and succession planning. He is involved in organizations like McKnight Scholars Leadership Program, Collegiate Livestock Judging Team, and Block & Bridle Club.

Growing up in agriculture, Aaron has seen the challenges farm families face with legal planning, which has inspired him to help families protect their operations and plan for the future.
