One of the biggest misconceptions about buying a home is that you need a large amount of money saved before you can even start the process. 🏡

At our homebuyer event, we talked about a down payment assistance option that may help qualified buyers receive 3.5% to 5% toward their down payment, depending on eligibility.

Here’s the part many buyers do not realize:
This assistance is structured as a second mortgage, but there is no monthly payment and no interest on it.

The assistance may be forgivable after 3 years as long as the homeowner:�✅ Makes their mortgage payments on time for 3 years �✅ Does not sell or refinance during that period

Programs like this can make homeownership feel a lot more realistic for buyers who are ready but need help with the upfront costs.
