A great team doesn’t just happen—it’s built with intentional planning, collaboration, and a little friendly competition.

Our midyear offsite gave us the opportunity to step away from our desks, evaluate what’s working, identify opportunities to improve, and align on how we can better serve our clients through the rest of the year.

We wrapped up the day with some friendly competition at the shooting range. I managed 92 out of 100 possible points—respectable, but I’ve definitely got to step up my game! 😄

It was a fun reminder that success comes from focus, discipline, preparation, and staying composed under pressure. Those same qualities carry over into how we serve the families and businesses who trust us with their financial lives.

Grateful to be surrounded by an outstanding team that’s committed to continuous improvement.

Happy National Aviation Day ✈️

One of the highlights from Thomas and my recent trip to New York City was getting an up-close look at aviation—from visiting the cockpit before our flight to seeing Manhattan from above on a helicopter tour.

It reminded me that while aviation and financial planning are very different professions, they share many of the same fundamentals: preparation, discipline, communication, and a well-thought-out plan.

Pilots don’t eliminate uncertainty—they prepare for it. They rely on experience, checklists, ongoing communication, and the ability to make thoughtful adjustments as conditions change.

I believe the same mindset applies when helping families and business owners navigate important financial decisions. Success isn’t about predicting every twist and turn—it’s about having a process, staying disciplined, and keeping your long-term destination in focus.

I’m grateful Thomas and I were able to share this experience together, and I’m equally grateful for the aviation professionals whose dedication makes moments like these possible.
