She shares her love of life and adventure with her high school sweetheart Joe, two boys Jayden and Dominic, and frenchie, Luca! Traveling, photography, painting, gardening, animals, being with friends and spending time with her family are some of her favorite things. In 2019 our non-profit Hookin Veterans was born (https://hookinveterans.org). Hookin’ Veterans brings injured Veterans from all over the United States together for a one of a kind offshore fishing experience. An old saying goes, “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” Our Veterans learn everything they need to know in order to take these skills home to their friends and families, giving them a hobby or new found passion they can then share with others. Our trips are designed to be fun, relaxing, and in some ways soothing to the soul. That being said, Hookin' Veterans is not about catching fish it’s about Heroes being remembered and Heroes being honored. This allows them to kindle new bonds with brothers in arms, giving them an experience they will remember forever.

Big housing news this week: the White House's October 22 executive order (https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2026/10/decreasing-housing-costs-for-the-american-people/) directs federal agencies to:

🏠 Pilot proactive PMI cancellation — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac would review loans and drop mortgage insurance once equity requirements are met, no appraisal ask needed.
🔁 Let eligible refinances skip lender title insurance for an automated title review — fewer hurdles, lower fees, savings passed to the borrower.
🏡 Standardize permitting and financing for factory-built homes, to bring more affordable homes to market faster.

Honest caveat: these programs still have to be built. But the direction is clear: less friction, lower costs, fewer hoops — once that program is in place.
