We love sending local students back to school feeling ready and excited! 🎒 Our Winthrop branch had the joy of donating 35 backpacks to Winthrop Public Schools, each packed with file folders, pens, pencils, erasers, and colored pencils to help families kick off the school year on the right foot.
Here is Branch Manager Lawrence Bailey, and Jacob Lloyd, MMS, presenting the backpacks to Fabiola Oliveira, Parent Liaison at Winthrop Public Schools. It takes a whole community to help students thrive, and we're so happy to play a small part in that! 🌟

Our team rolled up their sleeves and volunteered for the United Way of Central Massachusetts Day of Action! 🧡
We spent the day giving back by helping clean and organize a room at the Belmont A. M. E. Zion Church, assisting with the food pantry, and helping veterans shop for food at Sully's Food Pantry. We're proud to support the vital work United Way does across our Massachusetts communities.
Thank you to everyone who came out to make a difference!

🎉 Please join us in congratulating Angela Talbot Bartusek on her promotion to Assistant Vice President/Content Marketing Manager! 👏

Angela has been part of Webster First for six years, and has been a driving force behind our content marketing strategy. This new role is a well-earned reflection of her hard work.

Angela holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Fitchburg State University and first joined the Webster First team in 2020 as a Mortgage Servicing Clerk. From there, she was promoted to Mortgage Processor before joining the Marketing department in 2022, where she's led the way on our website and social media content, SEO, GEO, and design. Along the way, she's earned multiple certifications in these skills and completed the Management and Leadership Institute at America's Credit Unions in 2025.

Angela's creativity, dedication, and commitment to our members show in everything she does. Congratulations, Angela — we can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll accomplish in this new role!

🌱 Our team had an amazing time volunteering with Community Harvest Project Inc. in Grafton, MA this week! CHP is a local non-profit fighting food insecurity through sustainable farming. Getting to harvest fresh produce for neighbors in need made it such a rewarding day. We loved every moment of it! 🥕
