⛈️ El Paso, did that hail storm rattle your roof this weekend? 🐝

First off, we hope you and your familia are safe! 💛 If you spotted damage around your home, here's what to know about hail and your home insurance:

🏠 Typically covered (check your policy):
• Hail damage to your roof, like cracked, dented, or missing shingles

🚫 Typically NOT covered:
• Normal wear and tear. Roofs age over time, and an older, worn-out roof isn't the same as storm damage
• Damage that was already there before the storm
• Issues from poor maintenance

⚠️ Heads up! Some policies have a separate wind/hail deductible, and some carry roof-age limits or roof payment schedules. Every policy is different, so the details matter.

✅ What to do now:
1. Stay off damaged roofs. Safety first!
2. Take photos and videos of any damage
3. Call us BEFORE you sign anything with a contractor or claim with your carrier
