Mine are the Little Diner out in Canutillo and Queretaro on the west side. And the old place with the pig on the sign that had the carnitas and the chile colorado, that one still lives in my head.

Nothing beats a plate made at home by somebody who loves you though. That is just the truth.

When we moved to Coronado Hills, there was nothing out there. Just desert.

As we grew, the neighborhood grew up around us. Countless summers at the park, St. Matthew's, St. Patrick's, and a close knit group of families who looked out for each other. Those same families are still part of my life today. Children, grandkids, great grandkids.
