At his press conference following the Fed rate decision, Chairman Kevin Warsh once again refused to give forward guidance. Inflation remains well above the Fed's 2% YoY target for "core" PCE (the latest reading was +3.1% YoY!) Mercifully, however, we did get some rate relief this week, with US treasury yields and mortgage rates moving lower.
