Did you know? In 1952, The Allstate Foundation was established with an early initiative of providing High School teachers with scholarships to attend a summer course in driver training. To this day, The Allstate Foundation still supports teachers and the young people they serve. We are proud to be a part of the Allstate legacy.

In 1976, the “Helping Hands” program was established to give back to our local communities. Each office location was able to choose their initiative and one office, pictured here, hosted a local book drive! Giving back has never gone out of style and our agency is proud to support our local community.

Did you know? In 1950, Davis W. Ellis, general sales manager, created the "You're In Good Hands With Allstate®" slogan, illustrated with a drawing of a pair of hands cradling a car. This slogan came to him after he was told that his seriously ill daughter "was in good hands" by her doctor. Soon after, the slogan was incorporated into the Allstate brand.

Our Agency is closed today in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen tomorrow Tuesday, June 1st.

Memorial Day is a time for remembrances and celebration. It is a special day to remember heroes who have given of themselves so we can enjoy freedom.

Memorial Day Weekend is upon us! This weekend is one of the most popular throughout the year for having fun on the boat, getting out on the lake or river, and relaxing. If you plan on getting on the water this Memorial Day, please be cautious and keep safety your top priority.

The U.S. Coast Guard and the National Safe Boating Council recommend that boaters:

•Take a boating education course
•Wear life jackets as a rule. Most laws require having U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets onboard your vessel for all passengers
•Do not mix drinking and boating
•Know the weather and water conditions
•File a float plan. Give the information to a friend or relative who can call for help if you do not return as scheduled
•Observe the nautical rules of the water, including speed limits
•Get a courtesy vessel safety check
•Do not discharge oil, trash, or sewage into the water
•Properly insure the boat and make sure it has sufficient coverage
