I had some success from my last Facebook post about a few condo vacancies we have available in Oct. We did pick up a great tenant from a referral from a guy I played softball with. Thanks Adam, I owe you a beer.
We still have two units near DU.

Also, I have had a few conversations lately with a few real estate investors, both locally and nationally. The conversations are very interesting, and I am learning a lot with the changing landscape.
I'm happy to meet for a cup of coffee or beer if anyone would like to discuss. I think I have a lot of experience in many different levels of real estate investing, but I am always looking to learn and speculate on something new.
On one call, our shopping center in Savannah has lost two large tenants this year, and we are going to need to find new tenants in a difficult time. The call with the management company this week was an interesting discussion about what retail centers will do in the future. Some may see challenges while others see opportunities. I am looking forward to learning the next few years.
Meanwhile, another meeting with a local Denver investor who owns a lot of large buildings in town. We really delved into the Energize Denver Ordinance that is coming, a pretty spirited discussion. Again, I would like to discuss with anyone to hear both sides and opinions. I'm not looking to get political, but I do want to discuss if this will be more of a challenge or an opportunity.
