To my darling daughters, on National Daughters Day and every other damn day…you are my world, my love, my light, my joy, my fear, me excitement, my pride, my tears, my heart, my greatest accomplishments! You have each taught me so many things I never knew I needed to experience, more than I’ve taught you, that’s for damn sure. , my first, you taught me how to be a mom, how to love truly and unconditionally, what it means to have your heart outside of your body and continue to teach me so many things. My sweet .m.11 , the baby of the crew, you’ve taught me wisdom beyond one’s years, the incredibly blend of fire and ice & how to recognize this moment could be the last time I’m asked, “Mommy, tuck me in…Mommy, sing me my special songs…And just plain ‘Mommy’ anything” and to recognize the need to cherish every one of them. Closing days are the best days! I don’t post these nearly as often as I should, but this one absolutely couldn’t go by without all the celebration and fanfare! My sweet friend has been tested a fair amount of late, yet she always comes through with a smile, hope, joy, kindness, love and excitement. Congratulations Ania!

Annual Christmas gift for the fam was a hit! Dad’s been wanting to go for years and it finally worked this years trip! We were missing our Brittany and Ali. My favorite thing in the world is spending time with all (or most) of my children in one place 💜💙🩷 With adult children living in another state, these times will become fewer and farther between. Today was incredibly special to me for this and so many reasons. I had a Christmas surprise from our new “Texans” over Christmas, so it made up for missing them today.

And! One of the best parts! I wanted to watch at least one bronc before I ran to the ladies room, then decided no, I have to watch one more… and on my way, I ran into my amazingly, dear and sweet friend I haven’t seen in soooooo long! If I hadn’t waited for that 2nd rider, I’d have missed her and her beautiful family. We spent some time exploring kiddie corner and watched their boy ride the pony and my heart is overflowing with love and joy.
