Trim weak branches and clear your gutters

A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is a one-page document that proves your business actually carries the coverage you say you do — usually your General Liability, Workers' Comp, and Commercial Auto.

🟢 Why people ask for one:
🔴 Landlords want proof before you sign a commercial lease
🔴 General contractors won't let you on the jobsite without one
🔴 Some clients require it in the contract — we ask for one before we hire anyone, too

⚠️ One thing to watch: being named "additional insured" is what actually extends your protection to that client — and it's not automatic. Talk with your agent to make sure you carry the coverages you actually need.
