It’s a fitting final stop in the series, and a reminder that the spaces we create aren’t just about how they look, but how they bring people together every day.

We had a blast throwing on our cowboy boots and gathering with business leaders from across the industry to connect, share ideas and celebrate Colorado’s deep agricultural roots. Boots & Business is always a highlight of Stock Show week, offering a chance to recognize the National Western Stock Show’s lasting importance to Colorado’s economy and way of life while spending time with people who care deeply about the future of our state.

Monfort is excited to announce that effective Jan. 1, 2026, Kenneth Monfort will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, with Alon Mor transitioning to Executive Chairman. This evolution reflects both the momentum of our firm and our focus on long-term growth across real estate, private equity and entertainment investments.

As CEO, Kenneth will lead the company’s overall strategy, operations, and investment activity, building on Monfort’s deep Colorado roots and advancing our commitment to projects that deliver lasting value. Downtown Denver remains a key priority, and we continue to believe in its future as a vibrant, mixed-use urban core supported by thoughtful development, strong partnerships and a healthy daytime and nighttime economy.

We’re deeply grateful to Alon for his leadership and impact. During his tenure as CEO, Monfort Companies experienced significant growth and transformation, strengthening our platform and successfully executing strategic exits while positioning the firm for its next phase.
