During the summer of 2022 American Funds removed the ability to download transactions directly or indirectly to Quicken Financial Sofware.
Their response has been and still is "We are working on it and hope to have it fixed". It is now EIGHT Months without a solution.
Today I spoke with a nice gentleman in phone support at American Funds who gave me "The Spiel". After several minutes of questioning, he asked if I would like to speak with someone higher up the chain. I said "Yes, please."
I then spoke with another gentleman who gave me the same spiel again. After several minutes of conversation but no answers he said he would look into it and get back to me. He gave me his name and phone number which I respectfully will not publish at this time in order to give him a chance to rectify the situation.
