Join us September 19th for YOR Fest: Where Young Artists Grow.

This is our 12th annual youth music festival showcasing the talents of emerging artists in Denver and in Youth on Record programs. It's a full day of live music, family-friendly activities, community vendors and resources, and food trucks - all outside of the Youth on Record studio.

🚨 YOR needs VOLUNTEERS 🚨

Are you looking to make a difference in your community? Get involved with a local nonprofit? Support the work of an org providing free music programs to youth? Catch some really great shows, dance parties, and performances? Meet others who also care about the local music scene?

Then volunteering with Youth on Record is for YOU!

We’ve got TWO big volunteer needs coming up: YOR Fest and 16 LIVE!

YOR FEST
- Saturday, Sept 19th
- At Youth on Record!
- This is our annual youth music festival, bringing together young artists, families, neighbors, community partners, school partners, local businesses, and music lovers for a day of live music, creative activities, community resources, and connection
- As a YOR Fest volunteer, you’ll help us with checking in guests, supporting vendors and the merch table, handing out swag for youth VIPs, and making sure the event runs smoothly

16 LIVE
- Multiple dates, 6-9:30pm
- 16th Street & Glenarm
- 16 LIVE brings together iconic Colorado DJs, artists, and dancers to celebrate and amplify the city’s creative culture.
- As a 16 LIVE volunteer, you’ll support with the merch table (giving out free stuff!), answering guests questions about 16 LIVE and Youth on Record, directing guests to the silent disco, and packing up at the end of the night.

We'll be dancing all night long to millennial hits and gen z bangers, pick your silent disco channel and let us know where you stand!

In this episode, you’ll hear snippets of interviews produced throughout the first year of Get Loud Radio Lounge.

Plus, hear an interview with Youth on Record producer Carlitos Perez where he shares more about his approach to interview prep and practice, which you can see in his interview with The Barr Brothers!

Meta and the Barkada won our 2026 Music Matters March Battle of the Bands, activating their community and raising the most money for Youth on Record’s programs!

Their prize was a studio session at YOR - and it was their first ever studio recording as a band 💛
