A few days ago I shared something deeply personal about my family… and there’s another side of the conversation that has been weighing on my heart. 💙
June 1st, my family lost my Uncle Captain after his battle with cancer. As we continue to grieve, I can’t stop thinking about how quickly life can change.
Seeing my aunt, my family, and people I love walk through this hurts differently because this is exactly why I do what I do.
And if I’m being transparent… this one hurts even more because I wish I could have reached them before life did. I tried. 💔
Not to sell a policy.
Not to make a transaction.
But because I understand what the right protection can mean for a family.
One thing many people don’t realize is life insurance has changed. There are policies today with Living Benefits that may allow you to access a portion of your coverage while you’re still alive if you experience a qualifying illness or condition.
Because the financial impact doesn’t always begin when someone passes away…
Sometimes it begins during the fight:
💙 Missed work
💙 Medical expenses
💙 Income changes
💙 Household responsibilities
💙 Everyday life continuing while everything feels different
Another conversation we don’t have enough — your benefits through work may not always follow you when life changes. Your job may protect you while you’re there, but your family deserves a plan that belongs to you.
And when that day comes that we pray is far away… the right protection can help make sure your family has space to grieve without immediately carrying the weight of financial stress.
Life insurance isn’t about death…
It’s about love.
It’s about options.
It’s about protecting the people who depend on you.
Please don’t wait until sickness comes.
Please don’t wait until there’s a diagnosis.
Please don’t wait until your family is forced to figure it out.
Have the conversation now.
I couldn’t change this chapter for my family… but maybe sharing this can help another family write a different one. 💙
Let’s have that conversation.
💙 Building Legacies. Protecting Futures.
