I look at the story first.
The score is a number. The story is everything behind it — the context, the trajectory, the things that explain why the file looks the way it does and what that actually means for where this person is trying to go.
A score tells me where someone has been. The story tells me where they're going.

That shift in where you start changes everything about how you build the file, which lender you approach, and how you present the application.
