Summer is here and vacation road trips are on the horizon! Before hitting the highway, make sure your car is road trip ready!
1. Check your tires for wear and proper inflation.
2. Ensure your brakes are in top condition.
3. Test all lights, including headlights, brake lights and turn signals.
4. Top off fluids: oil, coolant, brake and windshield washer fluid.
5. Make sure your AC is blowing cold air to ensure a cool and comfortable ride.
6. Always have an emergency kit on hand: first aid, water, snacks and flashlight.
7. Stay hydrated and take breaks.
