I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be home from a family trip to Hawaii.

It was inspired by one of my favorite books, Die With Zero. In that book, they highlight the concept of memory dividends.

Financial investments can pay us dividends in dollars. But experiences pay us in memories—and those memories can continue to appreciate long after the trip is over.

So yes, save. Invest. Plan for the future.

But don’t forget to invest in today, too.
