A new goal. A bigger purpose.

Over the next 11 months, I’m working toward earning a spot at 2027 Council events.

The destination is exciting, but it’s not really about the trip.

Every council credit represents a conversation, a family protected, a retirement plan strengthened, a business owner served, or a legacy preserved.

As Zig Ziglar famously said:

“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”

That’s exactly how I want to build my practice.

Fun was had at the Anna ISD Teacher Convocation! 🎉

I had the opportunity to do a drawing and give away a $100 classroom supply voucher, and one of my favorite parts was getting to stop by L. Dow Hendricks Elementary to meet our winner and put a face to the name!

Teachers spend so much of their time investing in others, so it was pretty cool to have a small opportunity to give something back.

Congratulations to our winner! 🙌 And to all the teachers who showed up, connected, and kicked off another school year, thank you for what you do!

Agent of the Week. Grateful for the recognition, but even more grateful for the people and the work behind it.

There are a lot of conversations, early mornings, late nights, lessons, mistakes, and people who have helped me get here. One thing I’m learning in this season is that achievement is rarely as individual as it looks in a picture.

I’m proud of the result, but I’m even more thankful for the opportunity to keep learning, keep serving people well, and keep getting better at what I do.

I don't want recognition to be the finish line. I want it to be a reminder to keep raising the standard.

Grateful for the people who trust me, the people who challenge me, and the people who keep cheering me on.

Back to work. 💪

Yesterday I had the opportunity to be at the Anna ISD Convocation, meeting so many incredible teachers, administrators, and staff members who invest in our community every single day. We were able celebrate the present and “highlight” the future! As a small way of saying “thank you,” we hosted a classroom supply voucher giveaway and had a blast connecting with everyone who stopped by.

At New York Life, my work is about more than finances… it’s about helping people protect what matters most and build a future they’re excited about. Teachers spend their lives investing in others, and I believe they deserve someone investing in them as well.

To everyone who visited the booth, entered the giveaway, or simply stopped to say hello, thank you! I hope you have an amazing school year. 📚✏️

And to all the educators out there: thank you for everything you do. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom.
