Crazy woman arguing an HMO is better than a PPO 😑

Let’s be real, HMO networks are limited and require referrals.

It’s basically a two step process to get to where you want to go and many of the times the Doctor you want to see is not in network.

A PPO network is basically freedom. 🙌🏼

You choose where you want to go and you do not need a referral.

PPOs, you are covered IN and OUT of network! 🤯

Health insurance is actually pretty simple..

Three ways to really get covered 👇

Group plans, like through an employer 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒
- Great way to get coverage especially if the employer contributes to the monthly premiums.
- Can be expensive if adding family members because they do not work there and employers typically do not contribute to family members.

Marketplace - ACA - Obamacare
- Guarantees insurability
- minimal essential coverage. Maternity, mental health and alcohol and drug rehab.

Underwritten Non-ACA plans
- do not cover minimal essential coverage
- have to be approved to be insured
- typically a more affordable way to get health insurance if you do not qualify for a subsidy.
